Cheryl Dust is a dairy farmer’s daughter who was raised near Bruno, Saskatchewan.
As a young adult Cheryl joined the federal government as a dairy inspector in Saskatchewan. As her career progressed she became a meat inspector and worked in various facilities in Southern Alberta.
Cheryl ended her career in Human Resources for the National Energy Board.
In retirement she picked up a video camera and started recording cowboy poetry and entertainment, rural life, cows, horses and all things country.
Cheryl owns a small herd of Black Angus cattle and some land near Shell Lake, Saskatchewan, managed by her brother. Cheryl often helps with haying or harvest and she likes quietly communing with cows. She doesn’t like broken down equipment!
Have you ever thought about recording your branding? Connect with Cheryl to arrange for her to come and video record and/or take photos of the action. She knows how to behave around livestock and she isn’t afraid to get a bit of muck on her boots!
